Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality of web applications and APIs.

Define and implement testing strategies for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Actively participate in reviews of functional and technical specifications to identify issues early in the development lifecycle.

Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration and high-quality releases.

Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites.

Promote continuous improvement in QA processes and quality standards.

Conduct exploratory testing on new features and critical deliveries.

Participate in automated test code reviews.

Mentor junior QA team members and support their skill development.
Requirements

Solid experience in software testing, with hands-on expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, performance, integration, and load testing.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and monitoring tools (Cloudwatch, Xray).

Proficient with version control systems such as Bitbucket or Git.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into delivery cycles.

Proficient in one or more scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality analysis.

Experience in testing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.

Strong quality mindset with a focus on user experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or K6.

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker for test environments.

ISTQB or similar QA certifications are a plus.
