"Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled DA-SDET Consultant with a strong background in financial analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of software development and testing expertise, along with a deep understanding of financial systems and analytics. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts for financial applications.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve software quality and performance.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on testing methodologies and financial analysis.
Mandatory SkillsProven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a focus on financial applications.
Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Preferred SkillsExperience with performance testing and load testing tools.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
3-10 years of relevant experience in software testing and financial analysis.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or financial analysis (e.g., CFA) are a plus."
