About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing) to join our dynamic team at Mumbai/Bangalore.
Technical Skills
· Proficient in writing and executing test cases and test plans based on requirements or user stories.
· Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, Cypress, or similar.
· Experience with scripting languages like Java, Groovy, Python, or JavaScript.
· Experience with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket.
· Experience / in depth knowledge with AI tools like Cursor, Cline, Codex etc is a huge plus.
Manual Testing
· Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
· Ability to perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
· Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA .
· Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing.
· Understanding responsive testing and UI validation techniques.
· Experience writing and execution SQL queries
Automation Testing
· Ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts.
· Knowledge of test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
· Understanding of data-driven and keyword-driven automation approaches.
Soft Skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication.
· Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
· High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Nice to Have
· Familiarity with visual testing tools (e.g., Applitools).
· Experience / research into possibilities of AI techniques in QA automation.
Education & Experience
· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in software QA with a mix of manual and automated testing.
· Knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Location: Mumbai/Bangalore
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: 4 AM EST to 1 PM EST (1.30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST)
