Job Description

QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) Java and Selenium manual testing

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and executemanual and automated test casesfor web and enterprise applications.
• Build and maintainautomation frameworksusingJava, Selenium, and TestNG/JUnit.
• Performfunctional, regression, integration, and UI testingacross multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure full test coverage and requirement traceability.
• Integrate automation scripts intoCI/CD pipelinesusing tools likeJenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Participate inAgile ceremoniesand contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and test estimation.
• Document and maintain detailedtest plans, defect logs, and test execution reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and enhancing testing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field(Master’s preferred).
• Minimum5 years of experienceinQuality Assurance, with strong exposure to bothManual and Automation Testing.
• Proficiency inJava programmingandSelenium WebDriverfor automation.
• Experience withTestNG/JUnitframeworks for test execution and reporting.
• Working knowledge ofCI/CD tools(Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Familiarity withversion control systemslikeGit.
• Strong understanding ofsoftware testing lifecycle,SDLC, andAgile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience inAPI testingusingPostman,SoapUI, orRest Assured.
• Exposure toBDD frameworkslikeCucumberorSerenity.
• Basic knowledge ofperformance testing tools(JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity withcloud-based testing environments(Azure, AWS).
• Experience in usingtest management toolssuch asJira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
