POSITION DESCRIPTION:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and API-based applications.
- Implement automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Develop performance and security testing strategies, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.
- Conduct security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing for web and API applications.
- Ensure API testing coverage using Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps engineers to resolve defects and improve test coverage.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous testing improvements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, NUnit, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in scripting test automation using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience conducting regression testing to validate software updates.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Certification.
- Experience with security testing tools, such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
- Familiarity with performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
