About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Lead who will own our Quality Assurance function and help take our product quality to the next level. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll define and drive QA strategy across the company. You’ll lead a growing team of QA and automation engineers , partner closely with the CTO and engineering leadership , and play a key role in shaping how quality is embedded throughout our development lifecycle. We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with leadership experience and a passion for building high-performing teams. The role includes quarterly travel to our technology hub in Belgrade for in-person collaboration with the CTO and engineering team.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Lead and scale the QA automation function across the company
- Define and implement QA best practices , ensuring quality is built in from day one
- Build and manage a QA team , supporting both manual and automated testing
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve test coverage, processes, and reliability
- Own the development and evolution of test frameworks, environments, and tooling
- Work closely with the CTO and Leadership team to align QA strategy with broader tech goals

What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role**

- 3+ years leading QA or test automation teams in a tech-driven environment
- Strong programming background (.NET, Java, or similar) with ability to design and implement automation solutions
- Strong background in manual and automated testing within CI/CD environments
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS)
- Experience across backend, web, and/or mobile platforms
- Strategic mindset with hands-on capability
