Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and/or backend services.
- Expand and improve test automation frameworks to support reliability, scalability, and ease of use.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback on builds.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and production issues related to quality gaps.
- Contribute to manual testing when needed, particularly for exploratory, regression, or edge-case scenarios.
- Advocate for quality best practices, testability, and automation-first approaches within the team.
- Mentor junior QA engineers or provide guidance on automation patterns and testing techniques.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Playwright test automation framework.
- Experience using AI to accelerate QA automation.
- Solid understanding and implementation of Page Object Model and test design patterns
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Working knowledge of SQL queries and DB validations
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based environments.
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing.
- Experience with Docker or container-based test execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Demonstrated growth mindset (self-driven learning, continuous improvement).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities.
4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
