About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure and operations
- Create, modify, and maintain scripts usingPowerShell(required),Python, andAnsible
- ApplyInfrastructure as Code (IaC)principles to system configuration and deployment
- Maintain and enhance monitoring and alerting platforms (Grafana, Zabbix)
- Integrate systems using APIs (REST, JSON, YAML)
- Support virtualization platforms includingVMwareandHyper-V
- Troubleshoot complex system, performance, and automation issues in production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and platform improvements
- Maintain source control usingGitand contribute to CI/CD pipelines where applicable
- Document systems, processes, and automation workflows
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong experience withLinux and Windows Server administration
- Hands-on experience withautomation and scripting(PowerShell required; Python or Ansible preferred)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
- Experience supportingproduction infrastructure environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withAWX, Kubernetes, or Docker
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines(e.g., GitLab CI)
- Experience with advanced monitoring platforms (VictoriaMetrics, Telegraf)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such asAWSorAzure
