Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive end-to-end quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and API applications. The candidate will be responsible for leading the QA team, defining test strategies, ensuring high-quality product releases, and driving automation and process improvements across the testing lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in manual and automation testing, team leadership, stakeholder management, and agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA team across multiple projects and releases.
• Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and quality processes.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to ensure testability and quality coverage.
• Drive end-to-end testing activities including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and UAT support.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
• Track test execution, defect metrics, and quality KPIs, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure timely defect reporting, triaging, and closure.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement QA best practices.
• Mentor and guide QA team members on testing methodologies, tools, and automation practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Support CI/CD integration and quality gates within the delivery pipeline.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or XRay.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience in database testing and SQL queries.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in performance and security testing is an added advantage.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of AI-driven testing or low-code automation platforms is preferred.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Notice Period

• Immediate to 15 days preferred.
