Senior QA Engineer (Automation & API)

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and strategies for the components of the project.
• Identify, report, and track defects and issues, working toward their resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools within the team.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.

What you’ll need:

• 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining test automation scripts.
• Expertise with Automation frameworks (Serenity, Cucumber).
• Ability to perform through API/Microservices testing (Postman and JMeter)..
• Advanced proficiency with JIRA for task management and reporting.
• Knowledge of Confluence for documenting test cases, test plans, and other project artifacts.
• Extensive experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum and Kamban).

Preferred:

• Prior experience in the Mortgage or Loan Industry.
• Banking or financial experience
