Job Description
QA Leadership & Strategy
- Define and implement the overall QA strategy, testing standards, and quality metrics across multiple healthcare applications.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers, automation testers, and data testers.
- Drive shift-left testing practices and continuous testing in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Ensure testing processes align with enterprise quality standards and regulatory requirements.
API Testing & Automation
- Design and implement automated API testing frameworks using PyTest.
- Validate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
- Ensure API functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
- Work with development teams to integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines.
UI Automation
- Develop and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Ensure cross-browser and responsive UI testing for web applications.
- Improve automation coverage and maintain stability of automated test suites.
ETL & Data Testing
- Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations.
- Ensure data accuracy across data ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers.
- Perform database and data warehouse validation using SQL.
- Work with data teams to test large-scale data systems and analytics pipelines.
Test Planning & Execution
- Define test strategies, test plans, and test cases for large enterprise releases.
- Manage functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for APIs, UI, and data pipelines.
Healthcare Compliance & Quality
- Ensure systems meet healthcare compliance and data security standards.
- Validate data handling processes in alignment with HIPAA and healthcare data guidelines.
- Ensure traceability of requirements and testing artifacts.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with product managers, developers, DevOps, and data engineers.
- Participate in sprint planning, release planning, and production readiness reviews.
- Provide clear reporting on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness.
Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in QA leadership or test management roles.
- Experience in healthcare, health-tech, or regulated domains preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong API testing expertise using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Test automation development using PyTest.
- UI automation using Playwright.
- Strong experience in ETL and data testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of data platforms such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Methodologies & Tools
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps testing practices.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-based systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing healthcare platforms, healthcare data systems, or digital health products.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
- Experience in data pipeline testing and analytics validation.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to drive a quality-first culture across teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
