As a QA SQL Engineer, this person will provide testing support for the 340B applications (Web, Windows and Database) by understanding QA Database testing goals and contributes towards deliverables. Day to day activities for the job is to define testing strategies, perform test planning and executing unit, system, integration and regression tests of Backend applications, ETL/Data Integration and Datawarehouse solutions. This person will be responsible for implementing defined QA procedures to plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate, report results of software testing, and to avoid the release of defects (e.g., requirements review) under minimal supervision for projects of all scopes. Additionally, obtaining, maintaining, and documenting (application) system domain knowledge is necessary to perform defined QA procedures efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will need to be accountable for projects of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility; handle multiple projects of varied complexity simultaneously; provide feedback on and suggestions for improving QA Procedures to Project Leads and Technical Leads. You will be working with QA team, project managers, business analysts and application developers, to quickly capture the major business functions and technology underpinnings to be able to design and implement tests of system functionality that exercise all critical inter-system integration points.Additionally, You could also be asked to assist Project Leads building and maintaining the test environment and regression test bed, along with maintaining flexibility in testing with minimal, incomplete or missing requirements, and the performance of non-management QA and testing tasks, throughout the SDLC (i.e., from pre-project initiation through post-project review and monitoring).

3+ years of Advance SQL Querying using SSMS

3+ years of experience with SSIS, SSRS, SQL Agent jobs.

5+ years of advanced SQL skills.

Understanding of SSIS, SSRS and SQL Agent jobs, Profiling, Azure, and/or Redgate tool experience.

Understanding of stored procedures.

EDI/ETL, DW testing experience using Querysurge, Tosca DI.
Education
