The QA Supervisor is responsible for continuously improving the quality of the company’s product line by preventing, quickly detecting, and validating product and process defects, to deliver market and customer driven business results. You will evaluate the test results, prepare change requests and generate measures to assess the product quality. In this role you will work with an integrated team of developers, product managers, product owners, and system analysts for test planning, test Automation and execution, and product validation. As part of the supervisor role, you will be responsible for mentoring and being an escalation point for quality assurance on your assigned scrum teams, approving PTO requests, assisting with interviews and onboarding of new associates, and collecting data for the team. You will also be the main point of contact for your team during releases and making sure that tickets for your group are in the right status.

To be qualified for this position, you:

  • Must have working knowledge of test management and manual/automated testing tools for regression, cross browser and functional testing
  • Must have experience in an Agile/Scrum environment; we operate in 2-week sprints
  • Must be able to work cross-functionally to identify gaps or missing elements across the test cycle, collaborate with User Experience and Customer Support to incorporate customer feedback into testing approaches, and provide insights on best practices to ensure that deadlines are executed
  • Must have knowledge of underlying technologies supporting the applications under test i.e. REST API’s, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL, SFTP, microservices, and cloud architecture

You will be:

  • Supervising QA’s & QE’s across five Scrum teams where the team will be developing test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on the business, user, andfunctional/nonfunctionalrequirements
  • Responsible for mentoring and being an escalation point for quality assurance on your assigned scrum teams
  • Approving PTO requests, conducting interviews and onboarding new associates
  • Be the main point of contact for your team during releases and making sure that tickets for your group are in the right status
  • Evaluating test cases, test results, and overall team time management to ensure releases are successful
  • Working with an integrated team of developers, product owners, and engineering managers for test planning, test automation and execution and product validation
  • Validating and documenting the completion of testing and development processes to ensure compliance standards are met
  • Providing monthly reports on automation testing versus manual testing across the team

What skills you need in order to be considered:

  • 4+ years of experience in business/systems testing
  • Ability to showcase an understanding of general testing techniques such as functional, integration performance and regression testing
  • Working knowledge of test management and automated testing tools
  • SQL experience for creating, updating and deleting data for the creation of test data
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with Cucumber is a plus
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver is a plus
  • Previous experience as a QA Supervisor is a plus
