Role overview
We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Engineer to validate enterprise data integration processes, data pipelines, and reporting solutions supporting multiple products.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of data flowing across ETL processes, APIs, databases, and reporting environments.
The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, understands data warehousing concepts, and enjoys investigating data discrepancies across complex enterprise systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Validate ETL processes and data transformation logic.
- Verify data mappings between source and target systems.
- Execute end-to-end data validation.
- Develop and execute ETL test cases.
- Perform data reconciliation across multiple systems.
- Validate stored procedures and SQL scripts.
- Verify data quality, completeness, and consistency.
- Investigate production data issues.
- Work closely with developers.
- Validate scheduled ETL executions.
- Participate in release validation.
- Support root cause analysis for data defects.
- Document testing evidence and defects.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of ETL/Data QA experience.
- Strong SQL Server knowledge.
- Advanced SQL querying skills.
- Experience validating ETL pipelines.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Experience testing data warehouses or reporting platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong English communication skills.
