Lead Quality Engineer [gn] - Zeenea - France
Responsibilities:
- Design and build automated tests using some of the common framework to test our APIs. Tests will be required for end-to-end integrated testing. With our end-to-end testing, you will need to orchestrate multiple APIs including GraphQL API.
- Collaborate with development engineers, architects, CloudOps, and DevOps to implement highly scalable concurrent platform tests.
- Develop and implement best practices to execute automated tests across multiple test environments and ensure timely communication of test failures.
- Having some exposure to MABL would be an added plus for our GUI automation testing but can be learned on the job.
- Manage production bug ticket backlog ensuring the quality of the tickets, their qualification level, the prioritization and the correctness of the fixes
- Help engineering teams to make tests that requires specific testing skills during the development phase of functionalities
- Help engineering teams to level up in terms of testing techniques and automation
- Produce analytics elements that allow the understanding and monitoring of the evolution of product quality through time
- (dashboard, KPIs, root cause analysis, SLAs, etc.)
- Run manual and automated tests campaigns on production environments, especially exploratory tests, load and performance tests
- Organize and coordinate secure engineering practices, including Pen testing, with the relevant teams/CoEs
Required Skills:
- Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Expertise in GraphQL and REST API
- Knowledge of SaaS products in public cloud (AWS will be a plus), and architectures, including quality and performance testing for SaaS products
- Strong scripting and shell-scripting skills
Additional Requirements:
- BS/BA, preferably in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience, education or training
- 5 or more years of experience in software development and/or quality engineering
- Excellent problem solver who enjoys daily challenges
- Excellent writing and communication skills – French and English will be a requirement
- Team player used to collaborating well with others, working with globally distributed teams
Nice to have:
- Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Python SDK will be helpful.
- Knowledge of containerization, including docker
- Product and/or project management skills
