QA Lead - Playwright, Cloud Technologies

We are looking for a QA Lead with expertise in Playwright and cloud technologie s to lead a team of five QA engineers in ensuring the quality and reliability of a custom cloud solution. In this role, you will define the testing strategy, establish automation best practices, and drive quality assurance in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-performance and scalable solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead a team of5 QA engineers, mentoring and guiding them in automation and test strategy.
• Design develop, and maintain anautomated test frameworkusingPlaywrightfor web applications.
• Define and implement acomprehensive test strategy, including functional, performance, security, and cloud-based testing.
• Ensuretest automation coverageacross UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams to integratetesting into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conductperformance and scalability testingfor cloud-based applications.
• Identify, track, and report issues while driving improvements in QA processes.
• Advocate forbest testing practicesand continuously improve testing methodologies.
• Ensurecross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testingfor web applications.
• Stay updated onemerging QA automation trendsand cloud testing advancements.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 5+ years of experiencein software testing, with at least2+ years as a QA Lead
• Strong expertise in Playwrightfor UI and API test automation
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience in testingcloud-native applications(microservices, containerized environments)
• Strong knowledge ofCI/CD pipelinesand test automation integration
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling, Artillery)
• Familiarity with security testing principles and compliance standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Nice to have:

• Experience withIaC testing(Terraform, CloudFormation validation)
• Knowledge ofnetwork and API security testingin cloud environments
• Background in testingdistributed systemsand cloud-based applications
• Experience inload and stress testingfor high-scale cloud environments.
• Familiarity withcontainerization and Kubernetestesting strategies.
