JOB SUMMARY:
The QA Engineer is a key member of the Product Development team that brings software architecture, design, problem solving and code expertise into every aspect of our organization, department and sprint teams. They identify and define process improvements, perform product testing, improve quality and ensure industries testing best practices are used.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: **

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop test strategies for new system functionality.

Introduce and support use of automation tools and frameworks as needed for successful delivery.

Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams, in an Agile/SCRUM environment, to develop a comprehensive set of tests.

Implement automated tests for both functional testing (new functionality) and regression testing (existing functionality).

Assist with manual and exploratory testing as needed for successful delivery.

Analyze failed tests, produce reports, and manage defects using the defect tracking tool.

Diagnose failures and gather comprehensive information to assist in defect resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of software testing experience with focus on automation, in a web-based, cloud-hosted enterprise application.

Deep hands-on experience using modern test automation tools and frameworks for web-based application and RESTful APIs.

Good practical knowledge of a programming or scripting language (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C#).

Familiar with SQL scripting, preferably in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in the medical or pharmaceutical fields is a plus
- Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCC) is a great plus
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools and frameworks
- Prior experience in healthcare IT
- Knowledge of cloud computing (Windows Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and pipelines
