Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop/monitor quality program metrics to evaluate the project’s performance. Analyze said metrics to understand the root cause of any disconcerting trends and then work with the applicable parties to correct those items.
• Contribute to company as a high performing QA/QC or product engineer.
• Develop and/or follow through robust QA/QC processes and standards to enable efficiency and effectiveness along with leading effective cross-functional communications.
• Oversee IQC, In-process, and OQC inspections (product & material), including report setup, data collection, review, and improvement
• Establish the process for production document review and approval procedures
• Review and collect customer complaint case studies, analyze and improve production procedures.
• Troubleshoot production quality issues and customer quality complaints
• Assist with Root Cause and Corrective Action development as needed to support Quality, Customer, and Production Teams
• Create Internal and External CAR when quality is at risk.
• Develop/drive specific QA/QC dashboards, tracking matrices, and quarterly QA/QC “Deep Dive” presentations following Mass Production

Qualifications

• FLUENT in English and Mandarin (no exceptions)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial)
• Minimum of 5 yrs. experience in Consumer Electronics and/or Medical Device manufacturing Industry combination of production and QA/QC engineer
• NPI and project management in ISO 9000/1 environment
• Experience adapting to a fast paced, hands-on, start-up work environment
