** Job Description**

Summarized Purpose:

We are offering an outstanding opportunity to join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Engineer II, Software Quality Assurance. In this role, you will support testing activities by executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring delivery of high-quality software products aligned with defined standards and processes.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in software testing.

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with developers and testing team members to resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation including test cases and execution results.
• Support testing environments and test data preparation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Understanding of software testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Exposure to Agile environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Must Have Skills:

• Manual testing fundamentals.
• Defect tracking tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have Skills:

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Basic API testing knowledge.
• Domain knowledge (Healthcare/Life Sciences preferred).

Working Hours:

• India: 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST
• Philippines: 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM PHT
