Job Responsibilities
¡ Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for ServiceNow implementations, including defining test scope, objectives, and criteria for success.
¡ Test Case Design: Create and document detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business requirements and functional specifications.
¡ Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing of ServiceNow applications, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
¡ Defect Tracking: Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and communication with the development team.
¡ Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments and configurations to ensure consistency and reliability during testing phases.
¡ Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on system functionality.
¡ Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and assist in optimizing QA methodologies and testing practices within the ServiceNow platform.
¡ Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of testing processes, results, and status reports to provide visibility into testing progress and outcomes.
¡ Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing following system updates or integrations to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
¡ Training and Support: Assist in training end users on system functionality and help in preparing user manuals and support materials.
Required / Work Experience
¡ ServiceNow Certification (Certified Implementation Specialist or equivalent).
¡ 5-8 years of proven experience in QA testing with a focus on ServiceNow platform and integrations.
¡ Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
¡ Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or others.
¡ Solid experience in developing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
¡ Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, SOAP, REST).
¡ Proficiency with testing tools like Jira, ALM, or similar for defect tracking and management.
¡ Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript or Python is a plus.
¡ Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment.
¡ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
