Description
- Perform manual functional testing of new features and system changes
- Validate releases, including end-to-end and integration scenarios
- Design and maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans, checklists)
- Identify, document, and track defects in a bug-tracking system
- Work with API (Postman, Charles Proxy) and UI to investigate issues
- Analyze defects and collaborate with developers to identify root causes
- Participate in the release process and ensure product stability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Solid understanding of SDLC and basic principles of distributed systems and microservice architecture
- Hands-on experience in testing web applications, including REST API (Postman, Charles Proxy) and UI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in Russian, both written and verbal
- English level sufficient for reading and understanding technical documentation Nice to have:
- Experience testing financial or transactional systems where data integrity is critical
- Knowledge of SQL, Kafka, Docker, and networking fundamentals
- Broad technical mindset and curiosity about how systems work under the hood
