Sigma Systems is looking for a IT Testing & Quality Analyst to work remotely with our client located in Camp Hill, PA.

Job Summary:

Sigma Systems is seeking an experienced IT Testing & Quality Analyst – Platform Quality Engineer (Integration & Interoperability) to support a leading healthcare organization. This role will focus on software quality engineering, healthcare data integration testing, interoperability validation, and ensuring quality standards across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience testing healthcare integrations involving FHIR, HL7, APIs, EHR platforms, and healthcare data exchange workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, execute, and analyze software quality processes across enterprise applications and integration platforms.
  • Perform integration, interoperability, regression, and data validation testing for healthcare solutions.
  • Collaborate with application teams, business stakeholders, and process owners to ensure quality goals are incorporated into business solutions.
  • Validate healthcare data exchanges between systems using source-to-target mapping and reconciliation techniques.
  • Analyze business problems, identify risks/issues, and provide recommendations for continuous process improvement.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, defect documentation, and quality reports.
  • Support defect management activities including identification, tracking, analysis, and resolution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Provide guidance on software artifacts, testing processes, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or IT quality assurance (open to candidates with additional experience if highly qualified).
  • Experience with healthcare data integration testing and interoperability solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with source-to-target data mapping, data validation, and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR and HL7 v2/v3.
  • Experience testing healthcare APIs and integration workflows.
  • Experience with Kafka, SFTP, REST/SOAP APIs , or messaging platforms.
  • Experience working with healthcare systems such as Epic, Oracle Health, Cerner, or other EHR platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or health insurance industries.
