QA Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, exploratory, and API testing.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications (primarily web).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and validate features.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Participate in release validation and quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to defining and improving QA processes, testing approaches, and quality standards across projects.
- Participate in test automation initiatives and quality improvement activities where applicable.
- Communicate effectively within the team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience in Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, software testing methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Experience with web application and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and project management tools (Jira).
- Practical experience with REST API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of CI/CD processes (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Basic SQL knowledge and experience validating data would be a plus.
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting languages would be considered an advantage.
- English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher – able to read documentation and communicate effectively.
