Identify defects in Red Hat software and file bug reports. Develop test automation for new feature, bug and regression testing.
U.S. Remote â Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.
What You Will Do:
- Provide timely and thorough documentation reviews for new features and bugs.
- Document all test cases and test procedures in Palrion test management.
- Continuously ensure automation is accurate and up-to-date.
- File bug reports using JIRA and work with developers to test the fixes.
- Design and develop test artifacts to improve test efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in product standup and design sessions and provide feedback.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking or related field.
- Position requires working knowledge of the following skills gained through coursework or experience: software testing methodologies and techniques; Agile software development and test methodologies; software programming using Bash, Go or Python; provisioning test infrastructure in public and on-premise clouds; software configuration management using Git; automation of software testing and deployment; Unix or Linux operating system operations and configuration; and network protocols including tcp, udp, http, ipv4/v6.

The salary range for this position is $105,860 - $169,340. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
