**Job Description & Summary: **We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in any major language (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.) and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies. You will be responsible for building scalable and maintainable automation solutions to improve software quality and accelerate delivery cycles.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or similar tools.

Implement automated test scripts across different layers of the application (UI, API, backend).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive automation coverage.

Execute and analyze automated test results; identify, report, and track defects.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable release cycles.

Optimize and improve existing automation frameworks to enhance performance and reliability.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.

Help define test strategy and ensure adherence to best practices in automation.

Mentor junior team members, reviewing their code and providing technical guidance.
Mandatory skill sets:

Mandatory Skill : Atleast 1 yr experience in Playwright / Cypress / WebdriverIO / NightwatchJS and minimum 4 yrs overall automation experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

4 to 8 years of experience in test automation engineering.

Proficient in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.

Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch or improving existing ones.

Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle, types of testing (functional, regression, integration), and Agile methodology.

Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred skill sets:

Experience with API automation testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.

Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
Years of experience required:
3 to 6 years of experience in test automation engineering withPlaywright exposure.
Education qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
