What you'll do:
- Manually testing our Outlook, Web, and Mobile products
- Executing existing manual test cases for regression
- Attending daily standups and providing status to the teams
- Doing verifications of bug fix, improvement, and/or feature tickets from steps or other documentation
- Working closely with Development and other QA to clarify steps, or missing test coverage not outlined in tickets
- Doing Adhoc manual testing around code changes or new features
- Reporting in Jira the bugs or improvements discovered during testing, including clear steps, logs, and replication video/screen captures
- Working closely with Development to try to replicate and isolate customer-reported issues. Recording findings in Jira
- Maintaining existing manual test cases, and creating new test cases
- Having Self-assignment of appropriate regression tests based on changes in a release
- Contributing to QA Confluence documentationThis is an overnight shift job.
What we expect from you:
- 2+ years of Manual QA experience in the software testing domain
- Solid English skills (written and spoken)
- Passion for software quality
- Comprehensive knowledge of tools, concepts, and associated methodologies of QA
- Proven skills in manual software testing with databases and APIs
- Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and tasks and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Scrum, and project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability with test failures, to utilize logs or other debug tools and help isolate the root cause
