- Experience with the configuration of automated testing tools to create regression test scripts
- Ability to review and understand client requirements in the form of Jira user stories
- Ability to translate requirements into test plans, test scenarios, test cases, etc. to ensure a thorough test of the deliverable
- Understands relational databases and able to test and validate data
- Assist internal or external clients with user acceptance testing and validation efforts as requested
- Identify/suggest improvements to requirements tools, templates, and processes
- Analyze automated testing tool output and document issues, defects, etc.
- Develop product and domain knowledge and expertise
- Perform regression testing via automated tools for designated systems quarterly
- Conduct system performance testing as needed
- Active participant in Agile ceremonies (e.g., standups, grooming, planning, demonstrations, etc.)
- Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience with implementation of automated tools for testing
- Software development background preferred
- Experience with reviewing and understanding requirements
- Critical thinking and willingness to question requirements is a must
- Relational database experience is mandatory
- SQL writing skills are mandatory for data validation activities
- Experience with Agile Development Methodology
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a technology related field
- Automotive industry experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Jira
- Quick learner and self-starter
