Senior QA Analyst
About your role
This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of complex backend systems that support critical business operations across multiple domains. As a Senior QA Analyst, you will work closely with backend engineering teams to validate business rules, data flows and integrations, contributing directly to the stability of core transactional processes. The position requires strong ownership of backend quality, hands-on testing expertise and active participation throughout the delivery lifecycle
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on manual backend testing for complex business workflows, including order processing, shipping, warehouse, vendor, procurement and customer management systems.
- Analyze backend processes and business rules, translating requirements into detailed test scenarios, test plans and test cases.
- Execute API testing using tools such as Postman to validate data integrity, workflows and system integrations.
- Validate end-to-end backend process flows, ensuring accuracy across data-driven and transactional scenarios.
- Manage test execution activities, including regression testing, defect identification and retesting cycles.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, release planning and defect triage, providing clear and actionable quality insights.
- Track, document and communicate defects using tools such as Jira, Confluence and Zephyr.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in manual backend testing for complex, business-critical systems.
- Proven ability to analyze backend processes and business rules and translate them into effective test scenarios and cases.
- Experience testing ERP, OMS or CRM platforms, with NetSuite exposure considered a strong plus.
- Solid experience with API testing tools such as Postman and backend data validations.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with a clear sense of ownership for quality.
