QA Automation Engineer (SDET) architect and own the quality strategy for a high-profile migration of marketing pages TypeScript + Playwright visual regression testing
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintaina scalable automation framework usingTypeScript and Playwrightfor E2E and API validation
- Implement and enforcean automatedvisual regression testingstrategy to detect UI differences across viewports/devices
- Integrateautomated test suites intoCI/CD pipelines, providing fast feedback on pull requests and release readiness
- Validatefunctional user journeys and critical marketing page flows end-to-end
- Createautomated checks forAccessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)andtechnical SEOas part of the pipeline
- Developscripts to validate Headless CMS content/data integrity (e.g., broken links/assets, JSON schema/REST response validation)
- Audit and reviewunit tests with Front-End engineers to improve coverage and reliability
- Mentor and influencedevelopers on testing best practices to strengthen a quality-first culture
- Establishreporting and dashboards for test execution, coverage, and quality trends for stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+years of relevant QA Automation / SDET experience (or equivalent depth of hands-on automation ownership)
- Strong programming skillsinJavaScript and TypeScriptfor building maintainable test code
- Expert proficiency with Playwright, including building frameworks (not only running existing scripts)
- Proven experienceimplementingautomated visual regression testingin production environments
- Hands-on CI/CD experience, including integrating automated suites and configuring quality gates
- API testing skills, including validatingREST/JSONresponses for Headless CMS platforms
- Knowledge of automated accessibility testingtools and practices (WCAG-aligned)
- Collaborative communicationskills with the ability to partner with engineers, review tests, and drive adoption of best practices
- +B2 english level is required
