Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Solid understanding of quality assurance fundamentals and best practices

Ability to analyze requirements—even when incomplete—and derive meaningful test cases

Collaborative approach to working with developers to debug and validate product features

Familiarity with client-side web development concepts

Working knowledge of database fundamentals and hands-on experience with SQL

A strong interest in test automation; bonus if you’re already proficient in one or more programming languages

Keen attention to detail, both in frontend user experience and backend system behavior

Proven ability to design technical test scenarios and maintain clear documentation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skill in documenting bugs and issues clearly for cross-functional teams

Hands-on experience with API testing and understanding of Agile workflows

Growth mindset with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning

Experience testing across the web and mobile platforms, including responsive design considerations

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

3+ years of professional experience in software Quality Assurance, and utilizing SQL

Writing test plans or test strategies

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities

Self-directed and dependable, with a track record of managing tasks and timelines independently

Strong analytical thinking and quick grasp of new systems, workflows, and business logic with minimal oversight

Demonstrated growth from foundational QA work toward deeper technical understanding or process ownership

Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Postman required.

Familiarity with a tool like Azure DevOps or JIRA or such
