What You Can Expect

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for PCIe, CXL, NVMe, and SSD firmware validation
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Pytest, and Robot Framework
  • Build end-to-end automation frameworks from scratch for storage and interconnect validation
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Apply advanced OOP principles to create reusable automation components
  • Troubleshoot and optimize test suites for firmware reliability, performance, and coverage
  • Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement in QA processes
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; work effectively as a team player

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for PCIe, CXL, NVMe, and SSD firmware validation

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Pytest, and Robot Framework

Build end-to-end automation frameworks from scratch for storage and interconnect validation

Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Apply advanced OOP principles to create reusable automation components

Troubleshoot and optimize test suites for firmware reliability, performance, and coverage

Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement in QA processes

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; work effectively as a team player

What We're Looking For

  • BS/MS degree in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 4-10 years of hands-on experience and leadership in QA/Validation for PCIe, CXL, NVMe, SSD domains
  • Strong knowledge of PCIe, CXL, NVMe protocols, SSD architecture, and firmware testing
  • Expert-level Python programming for automation
  • Hands-on experience with testing storage products using Oakgate, Sanblaze, NVMe compliance tools, and Linux environments
  • SSD Testing tools like DriveMaster, FIO, VDBench, ezFIO, CrystalDiskMark, PCMarch, etc.
  • Proficiency in Pytest, Robot Framework, and scripting
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Solid understanding of OOP concepts and software design principles
  • Familiarity with Firmware Validation with simulation tools (Virtualizer, Simics, PCSim) and FPGA Prototyping for Pre-silicon testing
  • Setting up protocol analyzers, capturing traces and analyzing traces
  • Excellent debugging skills and ability to analyze firmware logs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Good to Have - Experience with high-speed interconnects, storage benchmarking, and advanced CI/CD integration & Understanding of management protocols MCTP, Redfish, NVMe-MI, etc.

Strong knowledge of PCIe, CXL, NVMe protocols, SSD architecture, and firmware testing

Expert-level Python programming for automation

Hands-on experience with testing storage products using Oakgate, Sanblaze, NVMe compliance tools, and Linux environments

SSD Testing tools like DriveMaster, FIO, VDBench, ezFIO, CrystalDiskMark, PCMarch, etc.

Proficiency in Pytest, Robot Framework, and scripting
