Job Description:
Supplier Quality Assurance specialist manages the approval and surveillance of Leonardo Helicopters supply chain granting the adherence to the established requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- carry out surveillance audits, as Team Leader, at Leonardo Helicopters suppliers, approving and managing the required corrective actions.
- Independently manage the first approval of Leonardo Helicopters suppliers
- evaluate and accept the Quality Plans required of suppliers and related documentation
- perform other activities to control suppliers (investigations, data analysis to design surveillance plans, risk assessment etc.)
- Participate to established Management Review Boards
- Manage improvement initiatives for SQA processes
- Cooperate with internal departments (Procurement, Production plants and final helicopter assembly lines, Technical Management, CS&S;, Project Management Office, other Quality System functions, etc.) managing issues or potential issues related to Leonardo Helicopters Supply Chain.
- Participate to audit at suppliers performed by Customer/Authorities.
Requirements:
- Masterās degree in a STEM discipline
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
- Upper-intermediate to advanced knowledge of the English language (B2/C1 level)
