Tech Stack: RSpec Python SQL

  • Assist in the migration of HMI/SCADA applications from Iconics to Ignition Perspective.

  • Develop and configure Ignition Perspective dashboards, graphics, alarms and messages ensuring mobile-friendly, intuitive operator interfaces.

  • Translate existing Iconics functionality into Ignition while maintaining or improving usability and performance.

  • Review PLC logic, primarily with Allen-Bradley systems to determine how best to display equipment values and states.

  • Ensure seamless integration with field devices, databases, and third-party systems.

  • Support commissioning, testing, and validation of the migrated system.

  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer as needed.

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Ignition Perspective platform development.

  • Hands-on experience with Iconics HMI/SCADA applications (for migration purposes).

  • Strong understanding of PLC programming, preferably with Allen-Bradley PLCs.

  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).

  • Proven track record of successful system migrations or large-scale automation projects.

  • Oil  & Gas experience is a must.

  • SQL database and scripting experience (Python within Ignition).

  • Familiarity with ISA standards for HMI/SCADA design.

  • Ignition certification (Gold/Certified Developer).
