Tasks
Quality Ownership & Process Implementation:
- Establish and evolveQA processeswithin our development squad, ensuring high software quality and smooth releases.
- Define and implement best practices fortesting strategies, including automated and manual testing approaches.
- Collaborate closely with developers tointegrate testing into the development lifecycleearly and efficiently.
Test Automation & Execution:
- Design, develop, and maintaintest automation frameworksto improve efficiency and reliability in testing.
- Write and executeautomated and manual test cases, ensuring high test coverage for critical features.
- Identify, document, and trackbugs and issues, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Technical Collaboration & Innovation:
- Work alongside developers and product managers to definetestable requirementsand ensure seamless feature delivery.
- Research and introducenew tools and technologiesto enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Advocate forshift-left testing, ensuring early and continuous validation of software quality.
Project Support & Risk Management:
- Ensure testing aligns withproject timelines and release goals, identifying risks early in the process.
- Communicatetesting progress, challenges, and quality concernsto the team and stakeholders.
- Support continuous delivery efforts by ensuring rigorous and reliableCI/CD testing pipelines.
Process Optimization & Documentation:
- Continuously improvetesting workflowsto enhance efficiency andreduce release cycle times.
- Maintain clear and up-to-datetest documentation, ensuring easy onboarding and knowledge sharing.
- Foster aquality-first mindsetwithin the development squad, encouraging proactive testing and collaboration.
Requirements
Proven QA Experience:
- 5+ years of experienceinQuality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Testingwithin an agile development environment.
- Experience working closely withdevelopment teamsto build and integratetesting strategiesfrom the ground up.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong proficiency intest automation frameworks(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest).
- Solid understanding ofAPI testing,end-to-end testing, and performance testing.
- Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand integrating automated tests into development workflows.
- Familiarity withbackend and frontend technologies(Python/Django and/or TypeScript/Vue.js is a plus).
Version Control & Tools:
- Experience usingGitand version control best practices.
- Working knowledge ofdatabases, web services, and cloud-based testing environmentsis a plus.
Problem-Solving & Communication:
- Analytical mindset with strongdebugging and troubleshootingskills.
- Excellentcommunication skillsto collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability todefine clear test strategiesand advocate for best testing practices within the team.
