QA Engineer

• Ensure the quality and reliabilityof heyData’s software solutions through rigorous testing and validation.

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholdersto understand the product vision, technical requirements, and potential edge cases.

• Design and execute test plans and test casesfor manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

• Investigate and report bugseffectively, working closely with Engineering and Product team to resolve issues.

• Contribute to continuous improvement effortsby identifying opportunities to optimize testing strategies and processes.

• Mentor and guide team membersin QA best practices and methodologies.

• Minimum of three years of experienceor equivalent expertise in QA engineering, including manual and automated testing.

• Proficiency in testing frameworkslike Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycleand QA methodologies, including Agile and CI/CD practices.

• Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scriptsin JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIsand tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing.

• Understanding of version control systemslike Git and workflows like Gitflow.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetesfor testing containerized applications, or a desire to learn.

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
