As an Automation QA Engineer at Como, you will be integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. This role requires building automated testing frameworks from scratch, focusing on SaaS products, web frontends, and APIs. Using your expertise with test automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium, you will develop robust, scalable, and efficient testing solutions that align with our high standards of reliability, usability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks from scratch using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
  • Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive automated test plans for SaaS products, focusing on web frontends and APIs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand system designs and integration points, ensuring extensive test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs meticulously, working closely with developers to facilitate effective resolutions.
  • Optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests, ensuring consistent execution and integration.
  • Analyze test outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that all critical issues are resolved before product releases.
  • Promote best practices in software quality and testability across the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorā€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, specifically in building and testing SaaS products, web frontends, and APIs.
  • Proficient in creating and managing automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java, necessary for developing automated tests.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, proficient enough for a workplace setting.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
