About the Role
QA Engineer FastAPI backend React frontend automated tests manual testing
Key Responsibilities
- Review and understand bothFastAPI backendandReact frontendto design effective test strategies
- Develop and maintainautomated testsfor API endpoints, UI components, and end-to-end workflows
- Performmanual testingto identify edge cases, usability issues, and regressions
- Write and executeintegration, functional, and performance tests
- Collaborate with developers to debug issues and improve application reliability
- Implement and manageCI/CD testing pipelinesto automate test execution
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintaintest documentation
- Conductload and performance testingto validate backend efficiency under high traffic
- Stay up to date with best practices inautomated testing frameworks and QA methodologies
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ yearsof experience inQA testingfor both frontend and backend applications
- Strong understanding ofFastAPI (or similar backend frameworks) and React
- Experience withautomated testing toolssuch asPytest, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Proficiency in writingAPI tests, UI tests, and end-to-end tests
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelinesand integrating automated tests into deployment workflows
- Knowledge ofREST APIs, WebSockets, and database interactions
- Experience withperformance testing toolslikeJMeter or Locustis a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability towork independentlyand collaborate effectively with the development team
