Manage several projects simultaneously while communicating the scope of testing required to meet the needs of the project or desired business capabilities. • Reviewing and approving test plans. • Assisting with managing post-design scope changes and resolving issues throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Building a knowledge base or proficiency framework on the test team(s) and applications and become a specialist on the overall line of business pertaining to the test team(s). • Analyzing and prioritizing defects based upon business and programming specifications. • Perform testing activities to include planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting tasks. • Leads, develops, monitors, and executes test activities for large sized projects. • Provides mentorship to team members on the scripting and execution activities to accomplish the test plan and design requirements. • Researches new tools and testing approaches, and executes upon/supervising the implementation of such items. • Post test execution activities include error debugging, reporting needs and internal and external communications. • Provide technical investigation, updates and progress to project team and management. • Automate tests for new features using existing automation framework. • Assist with the execution of testing for all system components, including functional and integration testing. • Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases, document test cases and generate reports; accountable for all software quality related metrics.
