About the Client
A premier global asset servicing provider. The company offers a comprehensive suite of financial solutions, including custody, fund administration, and middle-office services for institutional investors and corporate clients. Leveraging a strong presence across Europe and Latin America, the organization focuses on delivering scalable, technology-driven operations that ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency in the global securities market.
What You’ll Do
- Execute functional, regression, and system integration tests
- Design BDD test scenarios and create test plans based on financial-market rules
- Ensure full requirements coverage with end-to-end traceability between scenarios, evidence, and functionalities
- Validate data using SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity, consistency, and cross-system accuracy
- Test and analyze API behavior, including requests, responses, and edge conditions
- Create JIRA tickets with clear descriptions, structured evidence, and proper documentation
- Track defects throughout the lifecycle, perform retesting, and ensure timely resolution
- Manage and document test execution status (Passed, Failed, Blocked, etc.)
- Prepare and deliver Status Reports with key quality metrics
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the full development lifecycle
What You Bring
- Advanced knowledge of QA processes within agile development squads
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, system integration
- Hands-on experience designing BDD test scenarios
- Solid understanding of financial market business rules, including: pricing, redemptions, fees, settlements, corporate actions, and reconciliations.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
- Knowledge of API architecture and hands-on experience with API testing
- Strong focus on performance, data integrity, and analytical evaluation
- Proven ability to maintain full traceability from requirements through test coverage
- Experience creating structured, well-documented evidence-backed JIRA tickets
- Experience with end-to-end defect management
- Experience managing test scenarios, execution status, and structured reporting
- Experience preparing and delivering quality metrics in status reports
- Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Clear, objective communication with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with a high attention to detail
- Proactivity and a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to challenge requirements and anticipate testing impacts
- Collaboration, maturity, and accountability within squad environments
- Tools experience using JIRA, SharePoint, Excel, Postman, and SQL-based databases.
English level
