About the role
QA Engineer
This role will see you balance hands-on exploratory testing with building and scaling automation, helping us ship reliable, high-quality software at speed. Youâll also help shape how we approach QA as a company, driving a shift-left testing culture and improving how we catch issues early.
What you'll be doing
- Own and evolve our test automation strategy, primarily using Playwright (TypeScript)
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform exploratory and manual testing to uncover edge cases and ensure product quality
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and the QA Lead to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Identify, debug, and reduce flaky tests, improving reliability and feedback speed
- Contribute to test strategy, quality metrics, and release confidence
- Champion shift-left practices, helping teams catch issues earlier in development
- Get involved in team ritualsâplanning, standups, reviewsâbringing a quality-first mindset

Some sprints might lean more toward automation, others toward manual testingâbut adaptability is key.
Must-Have Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QA or Software Testing
- Strong experience with test automation (e.g. Playwright, Cypress)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies (manual + automated)
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Proven ability to improve test reliability and reduce flakiness
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to or experience with shift-left testing practices
