Position Summary: As a QA Specialist you will be responsible for conducting thorough quality checks on background screening reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards. You will learn this role through a combination of trainer facilitated learning and hands on experience. In this position you will report to the department Supervisor/Team Lead.

Essential functions, responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on background screening reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with establishedstandards.

  • Review and verify the information provided in background reports, ensuring data integrity andconsistency.

  • Analyze background screening processes to identify potential areas for improvement andefficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement quality control measures and guidelines for background screeningservices.

  • Monitor and evaluate adherence to quality standards and protocols during the background screening process.

  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members to enhance their understanding of quality expectations and improve theirperformance.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assuranceguidelines.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning to address identified quality issues and preventrecurrence.

  • Handle inquiries and concerns related to quality from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution andcommunication.

  • Track and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators to management and relevant teams.

  • Support in the implementation of new quality control processes and technologies to enhance operationaleffectiveness.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and changes in regulations related to background screening to ensure compliance and alignment with qualitystandards.

  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry regulations, and qualityguidelines.

  • Perform ad-hoc quality-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

Key Skills & Abilities:

  • Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate or equivalent in relevant workexperience.

  • 1 year of previous work-related experience in quality control, assurance, or a related fieldrequired.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously review and analyze background screening reports andprocesses.

  • Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Excel.

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitiveinformation.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to effectively interact with team members andstakeholders.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to qualitystandards.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work effectively to meet deadlines and achieve quality

Training Schedule : Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST

Monday - Friday to fall within our Hours of Operation 7:00 am – 6:00 pm CST
