As a Senior QA Engineer, you will contribute to the quality of the Statements application by designing tests, supporting automation, and working closely with the development team to deliver stable, high‑quality releases.

Your key responsibilities
- Support QA processes. Work with the development team to understand quality requirements and follow established testing processes.
- Design test coverage. Create and maintain functional, regression, and integration test cases.
- Contribute to test automation. Develop, maintain, and run automated tests, and help keep automation suites stable and relevant.
- Manage defects. Track issues, support risk assessment, and provide clear, structured reporting.
- Work with test environments. Assist in preparing and maintaining environments needed for testing activities.
- Collaborate in releases. Participate in release validation and contribute to continuous improvement of testing workflows.

Your skills and experiences
- Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Hands‑on experience with test automation tools or frameworks
- Practical UNIX/Linux and Bash skills
- Experience with Java; Kotlin exposure is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data checks and validation
- Good understanding of software development and testing processes
- Good written and spoken English; German is an advantage
Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance
Hands‑on experience with test automation tools or frameworks
Practical UNIX/Linux and Bash skills
Experience with Java; Kotlin exposure is a plus
Basic knowledge of SQL for data checks and validation
Good understanding of software development and testing processes
