Role Description
- Our technology teams are responsible for the bank's complete information technology infrastructure. They develop and maintain programs that are required for the bank's business. The teams work closely with the business units and other infrastructure units to modernize their IT systems to reduce complexity, minimize risk, and enable growth.

- The position is located inCorporate Bank - Transaction Surveillance Technology. Our goal is to protect our customers and Deutsche Bank against financial crime risk. Therefore, we develop innovative software solutions and maintain Quality standards for checking regulatory and technical requirements in real time.
- To strengthen our development team, we are looking for Quality Assurance Engineers who can design, develop and implement innovative QA solutions to achieve our goal.
- As aQA Engineer, you design, develop and automate the testing of application for business and technical implementation and enhancements. To meet business needs, you actively participate in the design and architecture of test automation framework or its components, explore and propose appropriate technologies, support the reusability of existing components, and support Quality Assurance.

Your key responsibilities
- Implementation of test scenarios using Cucumber and/or JMeter
- Follow agile testing methodologies to ensure quality and consistency of deliveries
- Manages the maintenance of automation suite and implements planned engineering changes according to agile principles / processes.
- Design, implementation, execution and results analysis of automated unit, integration, regression, resilience and performance tests.
- Code reviews based on the four-eye principle as well as problem and root cause analysis.
- Implementation and compliance with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings and other non-functional requirements).
Apart from daily development activities, it is also expected that you contribute on following activities:
- Contribute to QA of delivery of package/changes as per requirements
- Presentation of QA approach and results in demo sessions
- Expertise in understanding of client, business and Technical requirements and problem-solving skills (analyzes the defects, identify the root-cause and provide workaround/permanent solution).
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer-Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent
- Total 5-7.5 years of experience in IT industry with exposure to software Testing, development and maintenance of automation test suite, knowledge and hand-on experience in implementing test automation frameworks
- Hand-on experience in Test standards and procedures, and testing non-functional requirements
- Experience of working in agile teams

Technical Skills
- Automation Tool/Framework – Cucumber, Jmeter
- Programming: Java (or other similar programming languages)
- Server Level Automation Testing
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Artifactory
