We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with expertise in bothmanual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, improve testing processes, and maintain the highest standards of software quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality and performance.
- Design and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools and work closely with the development team for resolution.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to validate software behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and improve software quality processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall improvement of the QA team.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
· Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
· Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress.
· Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
· Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, etc.).
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
· Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
· Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
