A Test Automation Engineer will carry out all necessary activities for the implementation, enhancement and maintenance of solutions for automated testing. She/he works closely with the development team to get the necessary information about the system under test. The testing team is another communication peer for the Test Automation Engineer, where she/he gets all testing information about the planned area for the test automation.

What Youâll Be Doing
-
Participate in the complete testing process including test planning, design, scripting, execution, review, and test witnessing in a fast-paced, agile development environment

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools (Playwright (strongly preferred), Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, TestComplete, or similar)

Create and maintain manual test scripts for functionality that cannot be automated or is not yet automated

Execute validation and verification activities to ensure compliance with FDA requirements, GxPs, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations

Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing across multiple platforms

Manage bug tracking, defect reporting, and test progress communication through test management tools (JIRA preferred)

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software

Review work of less experienced team members and provide mentorship on testing best practices

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders through verbal presentations, written documentation, and progress reports

Maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, committed to excellence in all deliverables

Continuously seek improvements in testing processes, methodologies, and automation coverage

Monitor quality levels, identify root causes of quality issues, and take ownership of resolution

What We Look For
-
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in software quality engineering and validation/software testing
-
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright(Strongly preferred), Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, TestComplete, Coded UI, or equivalent
-
Experience testing web-based and/or mobile applications across multiple platforms
-
2+ years' experience working with clinical trials and/or within pharmaceutical/regulated environment (preferred)
-
Experience working directly with Software Developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
-
Working knowledge of the drug development process and FDA requirements for GxPs and 21 CFR Part 11 (preferred)
-
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
