Position Overview
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 FSCMQuality Test Automation Engineer, youwillbe focusing on designing, developing, and executing automated tests for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) applications. You will ensure that the software and its integrationsoperateas expected,identifyingand resolving defects tomaintainhigh quality and reliability.
This project is a close collaboration with a Microsoft partner that delivers end-to-end ERP solutions tailored for commodity and trade businesses, specializing in sectors like metals, grains, dairy, and soft commodities. Their platform, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, offers integrated tools for tradelogistics, finance, risk and position management, and real-time business intelligence to enhance operational agility and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks usingMicrosoft RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) for D365.
- Develop andmaintaintest strategies and plans, selectingappropriate testingapproaches such as regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Create andmaintaindetailed test cases thatvalidatekey functionalities across D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management modules.
- Create andexecute automated testcases and testsuites, analyze test results, and report defects or discrepanciesin a timely manner.
- Log, track, and verify defectsthroughthe defect lifecycle, ensuring resolution and retesting.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements andalign onquality expectations.
- Document test frameworks, test cases, execution results, and quality metrics for transparency and traceability.
- Continuously evaluate and improve test automation processes to enhance coverage, efficiency, and reliability of D365 FSCM applications.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum2years of hands-on experience in test automation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
- Proficiencyin at least one of the following automation tools:Microsoft RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) for D365orPlaywright.
- Demonstrated ability to build andmaintainscalable test automation frameworks for enterprise ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of D365 FSCM modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, Inventory, and Project Management and Accounting.
- Experience designing and executing regression, integration, and performance test suites in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Ability to write and manage detailed test cases and test data aligned with D365 business process flows.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as AzureDevOPS.
- Strong debugging skills to analyze test failures and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Clear documentation skills for test plans, test cases, execution logs, and defect reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Englishproficiencyat Upper-Intermediate to Advanced level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withLeapworkTest Automation tool.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based testing cycles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and its integration with D365.
- ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent software testing certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with test data management and synthetic data generation techniques.
