About the role:

Manual QA Engineer strong focus on Android mobile application testing

A bit about the work:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on product requirements and specifications.
  • Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and usability testing on mobile applications.
  • Perform manual testing of Android mobile applications across a range of devices and OS versions.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Conduct regression, functional, UI/UX, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Validate app performance, usability, and device compatibility.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using a bug-tracking system.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand new features and functionalities.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process and QA methodologies.

Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process and QA methodologies.

A bit about you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in manual testing, especially in an Android mobile environment. iOS knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with using API testing tools such as Charles or Postman
  • Experience with Analytics testing such as MixPanel, Segment, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with automation testing and inclination to learn it in the future is a plus.

Location:

we prefer remote and hybrid employment opportunities in the Pacific Time Zone (PT).

Pay Equity:

$110,000 to $150,000.
