CACI is seeking a Quality Assurance and Test Automation Specialist. The candidate will be responsible for verification and validation of website products associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software applications (e.g. Drupal).
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration, functional, regression, and usability testing.
- Identify system and software problems and their causes, record defects and report results.
- Develop and implement quality assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Perform accessibility audits based on Section 508.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owner(s) to define testing approach for validating requirements against developed software.
- Collaborate with Product Owner(s) to understand product specifications and create appropriate test strategies.
- Participate in product backlog grooming, sprint planning, product demonstrations and sprint retrospectives.
- Execute test cases, document results and track issues to completion.
- Define test methodology requirements in the form of user stories.
- Map test cases to user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Estimate tasks required for testing activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
- U.S. citizen with the ability to attain DHS EOD.
- BA + 6 yearsâ applicable experience, AA + 8 yearsâ applicable experience, MA + 3 yearsâ applicable experience, or 12 yearsâ experience.
- Experience with functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience supporting incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach to test a broad range of software solutions.
- Ability to create test plans, test procedures, user stories, change requests and problem reports.
- Experience interacting with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters and Developers.
- Ability to apply test estimation techniques to software development efforts.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Desired:
- Experience with 508 accessibility compliance.
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- Experience with automated testing technology such as Selenium.
- Previous experience using a content management system (CMS), ideally Drupal, and familiarity with the process of managing and editing websites in general.
- Experience with digital content creation.
- The ability to translate somewhat complex technical subjects into engaging language readily understandable by a variety of different audiences.
- The ability to collaborate with content, web analytics, and technical managers to understand and best address user needs collaboratively.
