Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium, Java, BDD, and Katalon to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software testing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks usingSelenium, Java, and Katalon Studio.
- ImplementBDD (Behavior-Driven Development)using tools like Cucumber
- Design and execute automated test scripts to validate web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with the development team for resolution.
- Optimize test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and guide them in test automation best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ yearsof experience in test automation.
- Strong proficiency inSelenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG/JUnit.
- Hands-on experience withBDD frameworkslike Cucumber
- Experience withKatalon Studiofor test automation.
- Good understanding ofREST API testingand integration with automation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, or similar).
- Knowledge of version control systems likeGit.
