Tasks
- Planning and execution of automated and manual testsfor various software products and applications.
- Developing and implementingautomated test scripts and test casesto efficiently cover functional and non-functional requirements and integrating them into our CI pipeline.
- Identify, document, trackand assist in the resolution ofsoftware bugs and issues.
- Collaborate withdevelopment teamsandProduct Ownersto develop and optimizetest strategies.
- Continuouslyimprove testing processesand procedures by introducing new tools, methodologies and best practices.
- Supporting the creation oftest reports and documentationfor internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in the role of Test & QA Engineer with a focus on automated and manual testing and quality control, preferably in the area of web applications (PHP, JS) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Profound knowledge in the development and implementation of automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, PHPUnit, Cypress).
- Basic knowledge of programming and languages such as PHP and Javascript.Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and test automation tools. Gitlab knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to understand and analyze complex technical problems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of English and German (at least B1 each).
